RIP Moimoi
Moimoi is gone - she passed away this weekend. We have had her for 6-7 years and don't know how old she was when we found her. She was a fiesty and fierce bird with a big attitude. We will miss her.

Here's a blurb that Marshall wrote about finding her:
Well you're not going to believe this tale but it's true. Toby and I went out for a nice relaxing time at a favourite Chinese Restaurant. Well, when we arrived the place was deserted except of course for the staff. The cook, as it so happens, was intently focussed on a corner table, and all in all there was a strange feel in the air. We wrote the whole thing off as an experience in another dimension. Sort of like we slid into an alternate universe.
Well, would you believe, a budgie had flown in the back door of the restaurant and the staff was trying desperately to catch this refugee bird for about an hour. So here we go joining in the merry chase. Running around the restaurant, jumping up and down, trying to catch the little scamp. Well friends our efforts were rewarded. We caught the little dickens and now it lives with us. This puts an entirely different meaning to the meal "birds nest soup".
Anyway, we named it "MoiMoi", which means "little sister" in Cantonese. And that's the end of my tale. Believe it or not. It could only happen to Toby and me.
